Brian Freeland, PA-C, has spent nearly thirty years serving the communities of rural Oklahoma. From a small town in Western New York, Brian fell in love with Oklahoma during a family visit, and knew he wanted to make the Sooner State his lifelong home.
Brian moved to Ada in 1993, working and providing medical assistance in the offices of Ada Orthopedics and Dr. Jack Howard. In 2000, he graduated from the OU Health Sciences Center College of Medicine Physician Associate Program with a Master’s Degree in Health Sciences. Brian is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician’s Assistants (NCCPA), and is a member of the Physicians Assistants Orthopedic Surgery organization, PAOS.
Prior to joining Curry Orthopedics, Brian worked at Southeast Orthopedics in McAlester and the Atoka County Medical Center Emergency Department. A longtime supporter of Ada Cougar Athletics, Brian has served on the Sports Medicine Staff for both Ada High, as well as East Central University, for the past five years.
In partnership with Dr. Cody Curry, Brian’s practice encompasses all areas of general Orthopedics, including joint replacement of the knee, hip and shoulder, fracture management, arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine.
Brian and his wife, Robyn, an Internal Medicine PA with Mercy Health, reside in Ada with their sons, CJ and Logan.
